New Orleans Saints linebacker Will Smith says that the team is starting to find training camp tough.

Will Smith has admitted that his teammates are starting to get tired in training camp.

The New Orleans Saints completed the sixth day of their pre-season practices yesterday.

The linebacker told the team's official website: "It's about that time. It's getting hot. Guys are getting a little tired, getting a little frustrated battling every day against the same guys over and over.

"It's about that time. That is what we are here for. We are here to fight through those periods, [and] have guys get better. It's a tough time.

"This is where we build our confidence. This is when we start working together, knowing what the guys on the opposite side of us can do, knowing what the defensive line can do, what the secondary can do."

Smith is preparing for his 10th season with the Saints.
