New England Patriots agree extensions with duo

New England Patriots star Brandon Bolden agrees on a contract extension with the franchise along with teammate Patrick Chung.

The New England Patriots have wasted no time in locking up their depth before the off-season after signing Patrick Chung and Brandon Bolden to extensions.

Safety Chung has reportedly signed a new three-year deal while running back Bolden has agreed terms on a two-year deal.

Chung returned to the Patriots, with whom he spent his first four seasons in the NFL, on a one-year contract last year after being cut by the Philadelphia Eagles.

After returning to New England, he had 85 tackles as well as one interception as he excelled in defending the pass.

Meanwhile, Bolden has established himself as a key special team producer, while he also adds depth to the backfield with both Shane Vereen and Stevan Ridley set to become free agents.
