Report: Johnny Manziel seeks Tom Brady's advice

Former Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel has reportedly sought the advice of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady as he prepares for the 2014 NFL Draft.

The Texas A&M Aggies quarterback is expected to be a first-round pick in May's Draft, and will take part in the scouting combine this weekend.

The Boston Herald reports that the 21-year-old spoke to the three-time Super Bowl champion while working with San Diego quarterback tutor George Whitfield earlier this month.

Manziel became the first freshman college player to win the Heisman Trophy, but his off-the-field behaviour has led to question marks over his readiness to play in the NFL.
