New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will not play against the Green Bay Packers this week, according to reports.
The 37-year-old guided the Pats to the Super Bowl last season, but will miss the first four games of the new campaign due to his part in the deflategate scandal.
NFL Media claims that Brady missed practice yesterday ahead of a meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell today, and coach Bill Belichick operates a 'no practice, no play' policy.
The Pats open their Super Bowl defence against the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 13.
