Rob Gronkowski will play for the New England Patriots today for the first time since breaking his arm in November.

Rob Gronkowski has been given medical clearance to return to the field with the New England Patriots.

The tight end has missed the last five games after undergoing surgery to repair a fractured forearm, sustained in the Patriots' win over the Indianapolis Colts.

The 23-year-old led the NFL in receiving touchdowns before picking up the injury, with 10 from 10 games.

The Patriots can clinch a bye week in the playoffs with a win over the Miami Dolphins today, and a loss from either the Denver Broncos or the Houston Texans.
