Stephen Gostkowski: 'New England Patriots not concerned by weather'

New England Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski has admitted that he and his teammates will not alter their preparations for the divisional playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts based on the weather.

Gostkowski said that he would rather focus on parts of the game that he has control over and that the Patriots would deal with the conditions should the expected rain arrive on Saturday night.

"The weather does [change] a little bit but trying to chase the weather and predict what's going to happen and what's not, I remember a couple weeks ago it was supposed to rain and we went over all these things about what to do in the rain and it didn't rain," he told the club's official website.

"Two weeks ago, it rained the entire time. I just try not to worry about anything. We practice outside and we get to work in most conditions that you'll ever get in a game. Sometimes there are really severe conditions like super, super wind or crazy wind or something like that that you don't really get to practise for.

"But it's kind of you just show up and whatever you get in warm-ups, you kind of adjust to it and play as you go."

Gostkowski has kicked his longest field goal of 54 yards and has achieved his highest percentage of 92.7% this season.
