Malcom Brown looking to take chance at New England Patriots

New England Patriots defensive tackle Malcom Brown says that he is prepared to make the most of any chance he is given at the NFL side.

New England Patriots defensive tackle Malcom Brown has insisted that he will grasp whatever opportunity he is given at the NFL side next season.

The rookie recently agreed a four-year deal with the Patriots after being picked in the Draft, with some sections of the press suggesting that he may be used to fill the gap left by former tackle Vince Wilfork.

"I'm not here to replace anybody. Vince was a great player, and obviously everybody sees that," said Brown, according to the Boston Herald.

"But I'm not here to replace anybody, and whatever role the coaches give me, I'm going to take that role and play my best at it."

Brown spent his college years appearing for the University of Texas.
