Arrington to undergo groin surgery

The New England Patriots have announced that Kyle Arrington will undergo groin surgery later this week.

The cornerback played through the injury for most of the 2013 NFL season, finishing the campaign with 62 tackles, two sacks and an interception.

The 27-year-old will undergo the procedure tomorrow, which will take him six to eight weeks to recover from.

Arrington has not missed a game since joining the Patriots in 2009.
