Spielman: 'No plans to trade Harvin'

Rick Spielman has said that the Minnesota Vikings have no plans to trade Percy Harvin during the off-season.

The wide receiver has been linked with a move away from the NFC North team.

The general manager told KSTP-AM: "We have no intent of trading Percy Harvin. Percy Harvin is under contract and we expect him, just like all of our players under contract, to be here.

"He is a very good football player, but he knows what he does for our football team."

The 24-year-old was the Vikings' leading receiver in 2012, recording 677 yards for three touchdowns, despite missing the second half of the campaign with an ankle injury.
