Brian Robison: 'Anthony Barr gives us versatility on defense'

Minnesota Vikings defensive end Brian Robison has talked up the qualities of rising youngster Anthony Barr.

The rookie outside linebacker is currently leading the team in terms of sacks, with Robison moving to single out his teammate for praise ahead of the new season.

"He can give us that versatility on defense to where we can all kind of move around and have different parts of the defense and allow us to keep offenses offbeat," Robison told The Star Tribune.

"[Offenses] can't key in on one guy. If they have one guy they need to take care of, they can't because they don't know where he's going to be."

The NFL is due to get back underway next month.
