Adrian Peterson 'doesn't care' about Chris Johnson's comments

Adrian Peterson has said that he does not care that Chris Johnson has said he will outperform him during the 2013 NFL season.

The Tennessee Titans running back told NFL Network last week that he would be better than the reigning league MVP in the coming season.

However, the Minnesota Vikings player responded on Twitter, writing: "Why would or should I care about what CJ has to say? Before you tweet what he's saying, ask yourself that question! MVPeterson."

Peterson finished the 2012 season just nine yards short of the single-season rushing record, less than a year after undergoing major knee ligament surgery.
