Tom Johnson: 'Minnesota Vikings will suit me better'

Tom Johnson believes that the Minnesota Vikings' defense will suit his style of play more than the New Orleans Saints' did.

Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Tom Johnson has claimed that the defensive scheme that his new side run will be more tuned to his strengths than the New Orleans Saints.

Johnson said that the 4-3 defense that the Vikings utilise will allow him to be more aggressive winning the ball, which he hopes will make him a good fit for his new team.

"It's a good fit for me because we will play the 4-3 scheme and that fits me best," Johnson told the Mississippi Press. "In the 4-3 scheme, I will be able to line up outside of the guard.

"That will allow me to use my attack ability, which is my strength."

Johnson has spent his three NFL years to date with the Saints, missing just eight regular season games.
