Shariff Floyd awaiting knee scan results

Sharrif Floyd missed today's practice with the Minnesota Vikings while awaiting results from an MRI scan on his knee.

The defensive tackle picked up an injury during the second quarter of the NFC North team's loss to the Houston Texans on Friday.

Head coach Leslie Frazier confirmed that the first-round draft pick was experiencing soreness in his knee.

Floyd took to the practice field for a walk-though this morning, but will not take part in practice drills until receiving the all-clear.
