Andre Johnson disappointed at lack of interest from Miami Dolphins

Andre Johnson hints that he would have signed for the Miami Dolphins if they had shown interest in him prior to his move to the Indianapolis Colts.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Andre Johnson has admitted that it would have been a "dream" to play for the Miami Dolphins, but they never registered their interest.

The 33-year-old left the Houston Texans after 12 seasons earlier this year, and has hinted that he would have liked to move to the Dolphins and go back to the city where he was born.

He told The Miami Herald: "I always had a dream of playing at home. I was a huge Dolphins fan. But they never called."

Johnson eventually signed a three-year contract with the Colts, and could make his debut against the New England Patriots in week one.

He has scored 64 touchdowns in his NFL career.
