Dolphins' Wallace: 'I want to be NFL's best'

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace has admitted that he would only be satisfied if he could become the best player in the NFL.

Wallace, who joined the Dolphins from Pittsburgh Steelers in March, said that he is up to the challenge of surpassing other receivers in the league.

"I want to lead the league in everything I possibly can," the Kansas City Star quotes Wallace as saying.

"If you plan for anything other than that, you're settling. I want to be the best. I'm not out here to be the second-best or third-best. I want to be the best player in the league.

"There are some great guys to try and catch, so I have a big-time challenge ahead of me, but I'm up for it. That's why I'm here."

Wallace received for 4,042 yards during the four years he spent in Pittsburgh.
