Miami Dolphins tight end Charles Clay wishes teammate Dustin Keller a "speedy recovery" after he was ruled out for the season with a serious knee injury.

Miami Dolphins tight end Charles Clay has wished teammate Dustin Keller a "speedy recovery" after he suffered a serious knee injury.

Keller was injured in a tackle by DJ Swearinger during his side's pre-season loss to the Houston Texans on Saturday, with scans confirming that he will not feature again this season.

The 28-year-old tore his ACL, MCL and PCL and dislocated his knee, and Clay took to Twitter to wish his fellow tight end well.

Clay is among the candidates to replace Keller in the Dolphins side to face the Cleveland Browns in their season opener on September 8.
