Chiefs trade Jones to Cowboys

The Kansas City Chiefs have traded linebacker Edgar Jones to the Dallas Cowboys.

The NFC East side will also receive the Chiefs' seventh-round draft pick next year in exchange for their sixth-round spot.

The 28-year-old played in all 16 games for the Chiefs last season, making 10 tackles in the process.

Jones was signed by the Baltimore Ravens in 2007 as an undrafted free agent, before moving to Arrowhead last season.
