Kansas City Chiefs agree one-year deal with Richard Gordon

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Richard Gordon agrees a new one-year contract with the team.

Richard Gordon has signed a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs that will keep him with the AFC West team for the 2014 NFL season.

The tight end, who joined the team for two games in December, had been due to become a restricted free agent next month.

The 26-year-old had just three receptions during his two regular season games with the Chiefs, picking up 1.5 receiving yards.

He joins Anthony Fasano, Travis Kelce and Sean McGrath as the tight ends on the Chiefs' roster.
