Andre Johnson: 'Reggie Wayne considered Houston Texans move'

Andre Johnson has said that Reggie Wayne thought about leaving the Indianapolis Colts in the offseason.

The Houston Texans wide receiver played college football with the 34-year-old.

Johnson told the Houston Chronicle: "Here was one of the places that he actually wanted to come. I was hoping that I would get a chance to be able to play with him again. Unfortunately, it didn't go that way.

"He started there, he's had a great career there. I'm just happy he's there playing at a high level even though he's been doing it for 12 seasons."

Wayne has had one of his most successful seasons in 2012, receiving for over 1,300 yards and scoring five touchdowns.
