Grigson: 'We must protect Luck'

Indianapolis Colts general manager Ryan Grigson has said that the team must work hard to protect Andrew Luck.

The quarterback was sacked 41 times and lost the ball five times through fumbles in 2012, which was his first season in the NFL.

Grigson told the Indy Star: "We have to do a premium job of protecting our quarterback. He's obviously an outstanding player. We don't need him running for his life. We need him to feel as comfortable as possible.

"This is a long, gruelling season. You can never let off the gas. You never know what tomorrow's going to bring."

The Colts have brought in several players in a bid to strengthen their offensive line in the off-season.
