Indianapolis Colts request deflategate blimp not be flown against Patriots

Colts request deflategate blimp not be flown

The Indianapolis Colts have requested that a deflategate blimp not be flown during their meeting with the New England Patriots on October 19.

Colts fans had been fundraising for a 150-foot blimp with "#DeflateThisBrady" on the side to be flown above Indianapolis during the match.

Quarterback Tom Brady is alleged to have used under-inflated footballs during January's AFC championship game between the two sides, and the meeting next week will be the first game between the teams since the Patriots' 45-7 triumph.

Brady's initial four-game ban was overturned but the NFL has appealed the decision.
