Half-Time Report: Buffalo Bills cruising against Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts fail to fire on offense as they enter half time trailing the Buffalo Bills 17-0 in their NFL season opener.

The Buffalo Bills have limited the Indianapolis Colts to a scoreless opening half in their first match of the new NFL season, going into the break with a 17-0 lead.

Both sides struggled on offense for much of the opening 15 minutes, with Colts quarterback Andrew Luck posting the worst rating for a first quarter in his career following an interception.

However, there was one moment of quality right at the end of the quarter as new Bills signal-caller Tyrod Taylor picked out Percy Harvin with a deep 51-yard pass into the endzone for the opening score of the contest.

A 41-yard field goal midway through the second quarter extended Buffalo's lead over the reigning AFC South champions, and they made it a 17-point gap at the interval through Karlos Williams's 26-yard run down the middle with just 20 seconds left.

The Colts never really got going on offense throughout the half, with Adam Vinatieri wasting their only scoring opportunity when he missed a field goal.
