Report: Chris Myers released by the Houston Texans

Texans cut Myers after eight seasons?

Chris Myers has been released by the Houston Texans after eight seasons of service, according to reports.

The 33-year-old joined from the Denver Broncos in 2008 and he went on to start every game that he featured in, including 16 last season.

However, NFL Media reports that the centre has been released, with suggestions that he could rejoin the Broncos.

Myers had been due to receive £3.9m next season
