Houston Texans keep Tim Dobbins for another season

Houston Texans agree a deal to keep Tim Dobbins for a further season.

Linebacker Tim Dobbins has agreed to stay at Houston Texans on a year-long deal.

Dobbins becomes the third player to have rejoined the Texans after being an unrestricted free agent, following Andrew Gardner, Ryan Harris and Brice McCain.

The linebacker was injured for the Texans' playoff campaign but played in 14 games last season, making 43 tackles.

He has also played for San Diego Charges and Miami Dolphins in his NFL career.
