David Quessenberry in remission after cancer treatment

Houston Texans' offensive linesman David Quessenberry enters remission after cancer treatment.

David Quessenberry has confirmed that he is in remission after cancer treatment.

The Houston Texans offensive linesman was diagnosed with lymphoma last June, but he has said that he has completed a radiation course and has now entered a 30-month maintenance programme.

He told the Houston Chronicle: "It feels amazing. We're getting back to a sense of normalcy. I'm officially into remission now and into my maintenance phase."

He added: "I should be able to play ball now. I wouldn't be where I am today without everyone's support."

The 24-year-old is yet to make an appearance for the Texans.
