Houston Texans owner Bob McNair has confirmed that the team still have more candidates to interview for their head coach vacancy.
The AFC South side fired Gary Kubiak earlier this month after the team slipped out of playoff contention.
McNair told the Houston Chronicle: "The process continues. We have other interviews scheduled next week. It isn't over."
Penn State Nittany Lions head coach Bill O'Brien has emerged as the favourite for the role, while former Chicago Bears coach Lovie Smith and interim head coach Wade Phillips have reportedly been interviewed for the post.
NFL.com reports that the franchise is expected to announce an appointment on Tuesday.
