Johnson: 'Texans should trade first pick'

Andre Johnson has said that the Houston Texans should trade the first overall pick in this year's Draft.

The AFC South side are expected to look for a new quarterback this off-season, but have also been linked to defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.

The wide receiver, who has been with the Texans longer than any other player, told KTRK-TV: "I have thought about different scenarios. Me personally, if I had it, I would probably trade it, but that's just my opinion.

"That doesn't make it right. Doesn't mean they should listen to me, because I am not the GM. I have never had to sit in the Draft room like that."

No team has traded the first pick since 2001, when the Atlanta Falcons chose Michael Vick first overall after a trade with the San Diego Chargers.
