Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson: 'I laughed off Karl Dorrell's bold prediction'

Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson has revealed that quarterbacks coach Karl Dorrell boldly predicted that would score a trio of touchdowns last weekend.

Johnson found the endzone three times during the loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, having not had a touchdown to his name all season until that point.

The 32-year-old told Texans.com: "When I as leaving the hotel on Sunday, he Karl Dorrell said to me, 'Don't be surprised if you get three touchdowns today'. When he told me, I kind of laughed it off."

Johnson's 229-yard receiving performance helped to end a scoring drought which dated all the way back to December last season, when the Texans last faced the Colts.
