Houston Texans owner Bob McNair 'not surprised' by Arian Foster groin injury

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster's latest injury is not a surprise, according to owner Bob McNair.

Houston Texans owner Bob McNair has admitted that he is not surprised by an injury to leading running back Arian Foster.

The 28-year-old has suffered injury issues over the past two seasons, and he will miss a large chunk of this campaign with a groin strain.

McNair told the Houston Chronicle: "Can't say I'm surprised. It seems like every year he's had a soft tissue injury. We keep our fingers crossed. He seems to be vulnerable to those types of things. We believe he'll come back this season and help us."

Foster scored 15 touchdowns in the 2012 season, but has managed just nine since then.
