Aaron Rodgers hails "special" Green Bay Packers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has hailed his current group of teammates as "special" after they clinched a spot in the NFL playoffs with a dramatic 33-28 win over the Chicago Bears last night.

Rodgers was playing for the first time since the two teams last met on November 4, returning from a broken collarbone in timely fashion and going on to throw a match-winning 48-yard touchdown pass in the final minute of the game.

That secured the NFC North crown for the Packers, and Rodgers admits that it was no easy ride for his side to get there.

"This is a special group of guys who've been through a lot. It's been a rollercoaster," Rodgers told The AP.

The result set up a wildcard playoff match for the Packers at home to the San Francisco 49ers next weekend.
