Green Bay Packers aiming to limit Eddie Lacy carries

The Green Bay Packers say that they will try to limit running back Eddie Lacy to 20 carries per game.

The Green Bay Packers have said that they will try to limit Eddie Lacy to 20 carries per game.

The rookie running back ran the ball 29 times and had four receptions during the team's 44-31 win over the Minnesota Vikings last weekend.

Running backs coach Alex van Pelt told the Green Bay Press Gazette: "We had an extra day [to recover] this week with the Monday night game, that plays into it too, but we're definitely monitoring the carries for him, try to get him back down to around 20."

Lacy has 446 rushing yards and three touchdowns in 2013.
