Mike McCarthy impressed by Ty Montgomery

Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy has revealed that he has already been left impressed by rookie Ty Montgomery.

The third-round Draft pick has been a revelation in rookie camp, with the Packers coach pleasantly surprised by his performance.

"Very impressed," McCarthy told Fox Sports Wisconsin.

"Obviously has a ton of explosion in his body. I thought he definitely stood out."

McCarthy added that he was pleased with his offensive line with Montgomery added to the mix alongside Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb and Davante Adams.
