Bryan Bulaga sprains medial collateral ligament in opening-night loss

Bulaga sprains MCL in Seahawks loss

Green Bay Packers right tackle Bryan Bulaga has sprained a medial collateral ligament, according to a report in the press.

Bulaga had to leave the field in the second quarter of his side's opening-night loss to the Seattle Seahawks, with NFL insider Ian Rapoport suggesting that the sprain will not keep the player out for long.

The news may come as something of a relief for Packers fans and staff, given that Bulaga missed the whole 2013-14 season with a torn ACL.

The Packers are due to return to action when they face the New York Jets next Sunday.
