Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson on the mend after hip surgery

Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy says that star wide receiver Jordy Nelson will be fully fit for the start of next season, after surgery.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson is recovering from hip surgery, according to coach Mike McCarthy.

The 29-year-old underwent the procedure after the Pro Bowl two months ago in order to clear up the niggling injury, which the team has said is unrelated to his knee surgery of two years ago.

Nelson is expected to be fully recovered within two months, and McCarthy has said that he will be 100% fit for pre-season.

Nelson had a productive year in 2014, and scored 13 touchdowns.
