Half-Time Report: Green Bay Packers cruising against Philadelphia Eagles

The Green Bay Packers ease to a 30-6 lead over the Philadelphia Eagles in the first half at Lambeau Field in the NFL.

The Green Bay Packers have dominated the first half of their game against the Philadelphia Eagles to head into the break with a 30-6 lead at Lambeau Field this evening.

Jordy Nelson was unable to hold onto a deep pass from Aaron Rodgers early on, forcing the hosts to settle for a Mason Crosby field goal in a snowy Green Bay.

Mark Sanchez and the Eagles offense struggled to find their rhythm in the first quarter, allowing Rodgers to come back out and find rookie Davante Adams for the opening touchdown of the game.

Another stalled drive for Philadelphia forced the visitors to punt, but Micah Hyde evaded numerous Eagles players to run it 75 yards back for a touchdown.

Nelson made amends for his earlier drop in the second quarter, taking a short pass from Rodgers before running into the corner of the endzone.

The Packers increased their advantage further before the break when running back Eddie Lacy burst over with a short run, although a bad snap prevented the NFC North side from adding the extra point.

All six of the Eagles first-half points came from Cody Parkey as the rookie kicker made two field goals in the second quarter.
