Ndamukong Suh fined for Matt Schaub kick

Ndamukong Suh has been fined $30,000 for kicking Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub in the groin.

The Detroit Lions defensive tackle avoided a ban for the incident, as there was not enough evidence to prove that the move was intentional.

Suh told reporters: "It's a crazy play, one that unfortunately happened.

"I didn't even realise it until the end of the game when I saw on my Twitter feed my friends were telling me about it. Other than that, I can't do much more about it.

"I was being dragged to the ground and my foot inadvertently hit the man. It's over with and I am moving forward."

Suh has received almost $250,000 in fines in less than three seasons playing in the NFL.
