Detroit Lions OC Joe Lombardi: 'Play calling not good enough'

Detriot Lions offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi concedes that the offense has not been good enough so far this season.

Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi has conceded that their play calling has not been good enough so far this season.

The Lions have slipped to a 0-2 start to the campaign, and Lombardi has taken his share of the blame for their poor offensive effort.

"Not good enough, I guess," Lombardi said, according to the Detroit Free Press.

"We got to score more points."

Detroit rank 25th in total offense and 31st in rushing offense while being tied for third most in turnovers in the NFL after two games.
