Reggie Bush "not surprised" by Brandon Marshall jibes

Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush is "not surprised" by derogatory comments made by Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall.

Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush has said that he was "not surprised" to see Brandon Marshall make derogatory comments about his side.

Marshall drew comparisons between the Lions and his own side, the Chicago Bears, likening Detroit to Chicago's "annoying little brother".

However, Bush supplied his own analogy of the situation, claiming that the little brother always grows up to be the bigger brother.

"Well, B. Marshall is a good friend of mine. I'm not surprised at all that he said that," Bush told reporters.

"You know what's funny is that I have a little brother and growing up, I was always like the older brother, pushing him around a little bit, and now he's 6'7".

"There's no more pushing him around anymore. He can hang with me. At some point in time, the little brother always grows up and ends up being the bigger brother."

The Lions beat the Bears 21-19 on Sunday to move into sole control of the NFC North.
