Manning: 'New Orleans is special'

Peyton Manning has admitted that he has been thinking about playing in this year's Super Bowl in New Orleans.

The Denver Broncos quarterback is originally from the city.

He told NFL Network: "Yeah, I guess you think about it, you know, sometimes. New Orleans has been a special place for my family and for my brother, Cooper, who lives there. And Eli [Manning, the New York Giants quarterback]. It's our hometown.

"I'm glad to see New Orleans has a Super Bowl again. It deserves it. And you really could have it there every single year. And so it's a big thing for the city."

Manning has appeared in two Super Bowls, winning with the Indianapolis Colts in the 2006 season.
