Julius Thomas has confirmed that he was not badly injured during the Denver Broncos' 45-21 win over the Washington Redskins.

The tight end left yesterday's NFL game early in the third quarter with an ankle injury.

The 25-year-old confirmed on Twitter: "Just left the facility MRI showed it wasn't a high ankle sprain so I won't be down long. Be back soon."

Thomas has 451 receiving yards and eight touchdowns so far this season.
