Manning treats every game like Super Bowl

Peyton Manning has said that he prepares for every game as if it were the Super Bowl.

The Denver Broncos quarterback has played in two Super Bowls, winning one, during his time at the Indianapolis Colts.

Manning told the Broncos' website: "I had an old coach that used to always say, 'If all of a sudden you have to do something different in the post-season to get ready to play, that means you probably haven't been doing the right things during the regular season to get ready to play'.

"I always try to prepare every single week as if it was a playoff game or the Super Bowl, whatever it is. That's your job, I think, as an NFL player. So when you get to the playoffs, that's really the mindset again."

The Broncos, who secured the number one seeding in the AFC in Manning's first season with the team, play the Baltimore Ravens this weekend.
