Offensive lineman Joe Madsen joins Cleveland Browns

Offensive lineman Joe Madsen agrees a deal to join the Cleveland Cavaliers as he seeks to make his professional bow in the NFL.

The Cleveland Browns have announced the signing of offensive lineman Joe Madsen.

Madsen spent time at the Green Bay Packers after originally being signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2013, but the player has been looking for a new team having featured in the Arena Football League last year.

The 25-year-old was undrafted out of West Virginia in 2013 and is due to play in what would officially be his first season in the NFL at Cleveland after failing to break into the starting squads at both Green Bay and Pittsburgh.

The Browns have also announced that Ifo Ekpre-Olomu and Randall Telfer have been placed on the active/non-football injury list.
