Johnny Manziel 'unlikely' to face Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel is a major doubt to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in pre-season on Saturday, according to coach Mike Pettine.

The 22-year-old missed practice with an elbow injury yesterday, and Pettine suggests that they will not risk the quarterback against the Bucs.

He told the team's official website: "He's still experiencing a little soreness. It hasn't bounced back. Err on side of caution. Could he play [Saturday] if he had to? More than likely he could. But why do that in the pre-season?"

Manziel was the 22nd pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
