Half-Time Report: Baltimore Ravens up by five against the Cleveland Browns

The Baltimore Ravens lead the Cleveland Browns 14-9 thanks to a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown from quarterback Joe Flacco.

The Baltimore Ravens are ahead 14-9 at home against their AFC North rivals the Cleveland Browns at half time.

Joe Flacco found Jeremy Ross, signed off the practice squad this week, on third-and-five early on a play before the quarterback ran in for the opening touchdown without a Browns defender in sight.

Cleveland tried for an instant reply but Josh McCown was sacked on third down, leading to a Travis Coons field goal, who remains perfect so far on the year.

The Ravens would put up a second touchdown on the next drive as Flacco found Kamar Aiken for 48-yard catch down the field before passing to Kyle Juszczyk for a six-yard score.

McCown would again help the Browns get into the redzone again but another sack on third down meant that Coons was required to put another field goal through the uprights.

Baltimore looked to strengthen their lead late in the first half but Justin Tucker sent his 51-yard field goal wide as he slipped as he made contact with the ball.

Coons would not make the same mistake moments later as the Browns head into the locker room behind by five points in Baltimore.
