Defensive end Wallace Gilberry will remain with the Cincinnati Bengals after signing a three-year contract with the side.

Wallace Gilberry has signed a new three-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals.

It has been reported that the defensive end's new deal is worth $6.75m (£4.5m).

The 28-year-old tweeted: "Feels good to look in the mirror and know that the hard work has paid off and that there's still hope for us."

Gilberry, who joined the Bengals after being released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last year, recorded 6.5 sacks and a forced fumble during the 2012 regular season.
