DeQuin Evans suspended for first eight games

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end DeQuin Evans will miss the opening eight games of the season for breaking the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.

DeQuin Evans has been suspended for the first eight games of the 2013 NFL season for violating the league's policy of performance-enhancing substances.

It is the second time in the last two years that the Cincinnati Bengals defensive end has been given a ban.

The 26-year-old had made four tackles for the AFC North side during their pre-season games.

Meanwhile, linebacker Emmanuel Lamur has been placed on season-ending injured reserve after suffering a dislocated shoulder.
