Dalton: 'I have improved a lot'

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has claimed that he has improved "a lot" as a player in the last couple of years.

Dalton is currently going through the worst three-game spell of his career statistically, throwing eight interceptions and seeing his completion percentage drop in that spell.

Bengals fans unfurled a banner that read 'Will the real Andy please step up?' during their 41-20 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, but Dalton believes that he is better now than he has ever been.

"I'm a lot better than I was the last two years. There's some things that I've done this year that I didn't do the last couple of years," Dalton is quoted as saying by ESPN.

"For me, I've got to keep improving and keep trying to get better. Some of the stuff that I've been doing are things that I wanted to work on and things that I wanted to improve on. We're in a good spot right now."

Despite Dalton's recent shaky form, the Bengals still sit top of the AFC North with a 7-4 record.
