Brian Urlacher is unhappy after being handed a fine for a tackle on Adrian Peterson.

Brian Urlacher has confirmed that he will appeal against a $15,750 (£10,000) fine levied by the NFL.

The Chicago Bears linebacker was hit with the fine for a horse collar tackle on Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.

The Vikings were awarded a 15-yard penalty after the fourth-quarter incident.

Vikings defensive end Jared Allen was also handed a fine after the game for a blind-side hit on Lance Louis.

The Bears won the game 28-10.
