Marc Trestman praises Kyle Long improvement

Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman has revealed that rookie Kyle Long is coming on leaps and bounds in pre-season training.

Long impressed during the Bears' pre-season game against the San Diego Chargers and Trestman said that it is a result of his hard work on the training field.

"I can tell you that from practice Long is not making incremental increases in his play," Trestman told the Chicago Tribune. "He's really ascending a little quicker than that."

Long was the 20th overall pick in the 2013 Draft.
