Ratliff pleads guilty to DWI

Chicago Bears defensive tackle Jeremiah Ratliff has been given one year probation and been fined after pleading guilty to a DWI charge dating back to 2013.

Ratliff was arrested after he crashed his pick-up truck into another vehicle, with blood tests later revealing that he was more than twice over the legal limit.

Since the arrest, the Bears star has completed a DWI education course, gone through a substance abuse evaluation and completed 20 hours of community service.

As a result of his ongoing distractions, Ratliff missed the team's three-day voluntary mini-camp this week ahead of the new season.

The four-time Pro Bowl selection had 6.5 sacks last year for the Bears, and is under contract through this upcoming season.
